2024 Margaret River Young Readers & Writers Festival

I’m so looking forward to being part of the Margaret River Young Readers & Writers Festival this year – and the countdown is on, with less than two weeks to go! There are free events at the Storytelling Snug in central Margs on the weekend (18–19 May) and in the following week (20–23 May) a team of us kids writers will head out to schools across the south-west. I can’t wait to meet young people at Bunbury SHS, Margaret River SHS, Montessori High School in Margaret River and Cornerstone Christian College in Busselton! I’ll be chatting about kelpies, shipwrecks and the many different ways I come up with ideas for stories – which seem to work for young writers, too! Seriously, is this work?!

For more info, check out: https://mrrwfestival.com

With huge thanks to Fremantle Press, Wild Dingo Press and the Margaret River Readers and Writers Festival.
