Hello, 2024.
I’m always happy for a new year. The silly – and very stressful – season is behind us. Time opens up to think, rest, and hatch a new project or two. Time to dive into a new read, perhaps?
On 1 February I’ll be able to help middle-grade readers and their parents, teachers and librarians with that!
Aussie STEM Stars Maddy McAllister: Shipwreck Detective is the latest title in the Aussie STEM Stars series, bringing in the fifteenth book in this awesome series for curious kids aged 9 to 13.
If you like shipwrecks, pirates and ghostly mysteries of the ocean, you’ll love this book. If you like snorkelling, scuba diving, swimming, fishing and boating, you’ll love this book. If you like the ancient world and archaeology, well, guess what? Yep … you’re going to need to get your hands on Maddy McAllister: Shipwreck Detective.
If reading this book is half as much fun as writing it, you will not be disappointed! Maddy’s story is inspiring and adventurous, taking us through her early life immersed in nature and how her dual passions for the ocean and ancient civilisations evolved into an exciting and meaningful career.
Bookshops will have Maddy McAllister: Shipwreck Detective available from 1 Feb, or you can order it now online. Teaching notes will be available soon!
